Instagram hiding likes
Instagram chief Adam Mosseri has now officially confirmed the launch of a new test that will enable IG users to choose whether they display post Like counts or not within the app. There will be three modes that will be made available to hide likes on your account:
Hiding Like counts on other people's posts
Switching off Like counts on your own posts
Keeping full Like counts in the app
Instagram Collab Sticker
Instagram is also working on a collaborative stories sticker which looks very very good, you’ll be able pick a topic, tag your collaborators and they’ll be able to post to a collective story.
Tik Tok launch Wellness hub
TikTok has launched a new 'Wellness Hub' to connect users to tips and resources on physical and mental health content within the app. tips and resources in four dedicated categories - 'Food and Nutrition', 'Fitness', 'Life Advice' and 'Mindfulness'.
Linkedin add "Stay at home mum" and more as job titles
LinkedIn's also looking to add a new field specifically for employment gap types, like “parental leave,” “family care” or “sabbatical,” so that people can better display their true professional journey. The new options also give more credence to the work that parents do, so rather than hiding those experiences, they're displayed front and centre, which could be a positive in recruiter assessments.
Pinterest announce $500k creators fund
Pinterest announced a series of updates including the launch of a $500,000 Creator Fund. The fund is specifically focused on elevating creators from underrepresented communities in the United States and will offer a combination of creative strategy consulting and compensating them with budget for content creation and ad credits. At least 50% of the fund’s recipients will be from underrepresented groups,
